I feel happy again:-)

At the beginning of October I saw on the pages of my faculty that European Commission in association with Michael Bosak* Society is organizing an essay competition . It was an interesting offer, but I am so inefficient when I see the term “seminární práce”, which translated from Čeština pro cizince 🙂 is some kind of essay/paper work and blabla…From the experience “I fell happy PART 1” I have learned that many of us can be less lazy, more efficient, more lucky. The result was, that I have send the paper and forgot about that.
Today (30.10) normal Tuesday, not sunny day, not working day as usually and around 10 o’clock somebody is calling, because I was writing a test from Principles of Managerial Finance I was not able to answer the call…anyway after one minute I receive an sms “Gratulujem k CMB2007.Musite jet do Bruselu. Pozrite mail a obrato dajte odpoved.” I needed some moments to understand that this is Slovak language (at the beginning I thought somebody forgot his Check language at home 🙂 ) The translation will be smth like this” Congrats for CMB2007. You must go to Brussels. Take a look in the mail and answer us”.
I needed few more moment to understand what is CMB 🙂 – it’s “Cena Michala Bosaka=Michael Bosak’s Prize”.
I stayed calmed …actually I lye, I sad in the classroom : yeasssssss 😀 , in this way I want to apologize to my colleagues for disturbing from their test ;- ) . Continuare »

I feel happy :-)

Sorry for not explaining what happened in the post I feel lucky. Anyway many years ago 🙂 Studentský list organized a small competition entitled “Vyhrajte se Student Agency”.

competition-sa-advertisment.jpg

The question was easy for those who are not lazy to take a look on the web page of Studentský list. As long as I am sometime in the category of these persons 🙂 I thought it doesn’t worth to search the correct answer. After 0.012 seconds of searching 😀 I found the right answer, I was just curious, when the Studentský list wast established. The next step was the most complicated one, because I was supposed to open my e-mail account and to send an e-mail with the right answer and of course my name, surname, patronymic, girlfriends name (in case I have one).
It was almost midnight (last day of the competition) and I was thinking’ to try or not my luck. I was lazy, but not pessimistic – so finally I ‘ve send the e-mail. Continuare »

Autoshow Praha and news from Škoda

Each year I’m saying that it doesn’t deserve those 60CZK (this is the discounted price for poor students) for visiting Autoshow Praha. Anyway I am going again and again. Friday, is the perfect day to visit the exhibition, because everybody is studying/working. Previous years were really borring, even the Autosalon from Chisinau was richer.
Those 60CZK am deviding in this way 🙂 : 10CZK for the ARTEGA GT, 15 CZK for MOSLER GT900S, 15 CZK for SPYKER C8 and 20 CZK for Aston Martin Vanquis S!!!
Hopefully Škoda will bring some maquette of the new Skoda Superb which is less than six months away from it’s launch. Anyway I can get a good idea of what the final version will look like. new-skoda-superb.jpg Continuare »

Wanna 3,5M$ (Three Million five Hundred Thousand USA Dollars) ;)

Many advance fee fraud (“419”) spam emails and all advance fee fraud letters contain a telephone number for contacting the sender. In most cases these involve mobile phones, but fixed lines are used too.
The most common scam involving Senegalese telephone numbers involves a girl (usually from Liberia) who supposedly lives in a refugee camp in Senegal. Her father left her a fortune, which she needs your help to claim via a lawyer. Also involved is a pastor or reverend and a bank or security company.
The catch is that the lawyer and the bank/security company want your money and the inheritance doesn’t exist. All parties may be played by one or two persons. Don’t fall for the pretty pictures, the romantic language or the big figures in the bank statements 🙂 : All names, addresses and other details are fake.

When You Own All The Oil, You can order Ferrari People Carrier :)

I am very agree with Hassanal Bolkiah (Sultan of Brunei) that is very uncomfortable to go shopping to Lidl or Penny Market (I am convinced these 2 shops are mostly prefered by his Majesty) in a sportcoupe or in a cabriolet (doesn’t matter which model, because anyway all of them together can take maximum 2 patatoes, 1 cucumber, half of banana and some sugar).
That’s why I do respect his idea of transforming premium cars in what he desires: ferraris in people cariers, bentleys into tractors etc. Don’t be surprised that soon or late to see him in a Rolls pick-up. It means aftewards LADA (VAZ) will be the only proper car maker of real limousines and tankars 🙂 .

When You Own All The Oil, You Have Lots of Cars

I first heard about Brunei and their enormous wealth few years ago when the circuit from this country was included in Formula 1. Since then I’ve allways been on the lookout for pics of the Sultan’s (brother’s/son’s) massive car collection. The collection is stored among five aircraft hangars near the palace and is closely guarded.
