I really like all the books and travel guides which I am buying before going somewhere. Wherever I am going, all the time in the travel guide is stated that this city is the most beautiful city in Europe/Africa/Asia/World etc. The same situation is this time in my travel guide about Stockholm, which is described as the most beautiful capital city in Europe:

Inside another travel guide I saw that actually Stockholm is considered as The Most Beautiful Capital In The World.
I am a little bit confused, I thought it is Prague :-) .

Maybe Stockholm is not as big and famous as Paris, London or New York, but still it is regarded as one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. Arriving in Stockholm is already something special. From your train/bus/plane you will see the water, the immense green areas and so many islands with the colorful buildings that make up Stockholm maybe really as the most beautiful capital in the world. Stockholm is also sometimes called the Venice of the North.

And, indeed, there is water everywhere and because of this I like Stockholm a little bit more than the lovely Prague. However, you don’t need a gondola to get around :-D . An extensive bus and subway network takes you everywhere.
Regarding transportation and roads, they are perfect except the thing they are different from those in central part of Europe, I mean the asphalt is constituted from a huge amount of small rocks:

…as far as I see they are writing Bus with double S or maybe its a mistake ;-) :

Also in Sweden, perhaps in all the Scandinavians countries is compulsory to have tyres with nails for all types of cars:

Sweden is a sparsely populated, but rich country and the nine million Swedes lead a wealthy calm life. They are modest, very helpful, tolerant, and speak excellent English, which makes Stockholm even more pleasant for me.

People are really very nice (you remember the girl from the main bus station ;) ) in the school, on the street, shops, bank etc. Because I have missed the first 2 classes of Swedish language I was in the situation to make a.f.a.p some friends among Swedes, so thanks to Henri and Beatrice I already know to count in Swedish: ett, tva, tre, fyra, fem, SEX, atta, nio, tio ;) I know the basic phrases and of course how to invite a girl to my place :-P .

The city is remarkably clean. It’s a very safe place too. Swedish crime figures are among the lowest in the world.

Speaking about the weather, one word comes to my mind “strange”, I mean first day was a sunny day, then next day it was raining and today snowing, if you don’t believe me, it’s enough to compare the picture with Stockholm School of Economics:

In the next post I will tell you more about Stockholm School of Economics, why it is so small, why it is the best school in finance and accounting in Europe during the last 2 years, why the alcohol consumption in front of the school is prohibited:

…and why they don’t have in the school’s elevator buttons for the 2nd, 4th and 6th floor ;-):
